PA Notary Academy is an approved educator through the Department of State Notary Division that provides educational seminars and business instruction to all Pennsylvania Notaries Public. Our Basic Notary 101 course meets the educational requirement for all new and renewing Notaries Public in Pennsylvania. Along with the basic courses we provide training courses for Accredited Signing Agents, DMV Clerks and business courses to help you start and run your business successfully.

PA Notary Education Courses

We provide training and information that is focused only on Pennsylvania, it laws and its Notaries. Mainstream membership organizations include the basic information along with heavy sales pitches in their educational seminars to cater to their business associates and vendors. While out of state providers provide blanket information that does not necessarily pertain to Pennsylvania and becomes confusing in nature. We are not a notary organization so we have no dues or membership fees. We are not an out of state company. We are a PA based Notary owned business whose goal is to provide a more comprehensive education through educational programs and mentoring to PA Notaries.

We wanted the most comprehensive courses available, so we asked successful Notaries, Title agents and Settlement services along with DMV companies to help devise our courses. All of our courses are developed by experienced and successful Notaries Public in their field and by the companies that hire them. Including Title Agents, Settlement Services and DMV companies.

We also wanted experienced instructors who actually work at what they teach. We believe that sharing experiences in seminars along with a mentoring program will help increase your knowledge level and help you to understand how to make your business grow and succeed.   • Basic Notary 101-This course is the required course for new applicants. We provide this course in a live seminar, online or even in your office at your convenience. This package includes: Basic Notary 101 course, your notary workbook, assistance with application processing and assistance with obtaining equipment. All handouts are also included; 2009 Acknowledgements, 2009 Affidavits, and 2009 Certifications. This course is available online,in live seminars or in your office at your convenience.
  • Reappointment Education Courses-The law states that if you were properly commissioned as a Notary Public on July 23, 2003 you are permanently exempt from the educational requirement. However; if you were not commissioned on that date you must take an educational course for each term renewal. Our reappointment course meets that requirement. This package includes the course, workbook and all handouts along with the necessary forms to do your job as a commissioned Notary Public. This course is available online, in live seminars or in your office at your convenience.
  • Full Commission Processing-This for new or renewing notaries. This is an add-on package to ANY of our seminars or online course for our students. It is also available to renewing notaries with or without education. We will handle the whole appointment process for you. This package includes:
    • Application processing.
    • All state fees.
    • Obtaining your Senators endorsement.
    • 4 year $10,000 bond required by law.
    • Your notarial seal.
    • Your notarial journal.
    • 2009 Acknowledgements.
    • 2009 Affidavits.
    • 2009 Certifications.

  • ASA-Accredited Signing Agent.-This course is the certified course for becoming an Accredited Signing Agent. This course was developed for PA Notaries by title agents and settlement services to meet their needs here in PA. Too many notaries depend on courses provided by out of state vendors. This course teaches according to our states laws. This is the premier course in PA. This course is available online,in live seminars or in your office at your convenience.
  • DMV Course-teaches you the ins and outs of DMV work. We teach how to set up an office and get approved by PA DMV. We teach how to do the paperwork required for all types of vehicles, including boats, ATVs' and snowmobiles. This class is a very sought after primer course for the required course from PA DMV.This course is available online,in live seminars or in your office at your convenience.
  • Full Scope Notary-This two day live seminar is held as a fast paced intense class including the following courses.
